There are numerous beaches in the Porto Vecchio area including the famous white sand Palombaggia Beach. With its turquoise blue waters and shady pine trees Palombaggia is hard to beat but you can also try out the popular Santa Giulia and Roccapina beaches.
 
Water Sports
Water sports are a popular daytime activity in Porto Vecchio and diving, wind surfing, jet skiing and water skiing are all available. Holiday makers can also hire motor boats and drift along the coastline at their leisure.

There is a wealth of fabulous restaurants in Porto Vecchio and French cuisine is just one of the many dining options available. The seafood is second to none, not to mention the local Corsican wine. A very popular day out can be had on some of the exciting boat excursions from Porto Vecchio. Trips to the nearby Lavezzi Isles nature reserve should not be missed, and you can take in the lovely beaches while there. The Marine Cemetery and Aquarium de Bonifacio are also well worth a trip.
