Porto Pollo sees temperatures of between 15C - 20C from March to May, and up to 9 hours of sunshine, however these months can see quite changeable weather. Temperatures start to rise in June, reaching 25C, with the height of the summer seeing averages of 27C - 28C during July and August, and up to 12 hours of sunshine. The hot dry weather is ideal for those looking to relax on the beach and enjoy scenic boat trips, and, as the water temperature in Porto Pollo reaches 25C during the summer months, the sea is perfect for swimming. Strong westerly winds, from the Mistral, can blow along the coastline, with the west coast resorts being windier than those on the east; however the curved beach at Porto Pollo is sheltered and generally protected by the high mountains in the area.
