The local beaches of the south are a major attraction during this time, with the warm waters of the Mediterranean, which reach 23C during the peak season months, being ideal for swimming and water sports. Days during the summer are generally dry, seeing very limited rainfall in July and August and a maximum of 6 days of rain in June and September.
