For shopping, be sure to visit the old part of Hurghada town, El Dahar, with its traditional Egyptian bazaar and market stalls, where you can try your hand at haggling for a bargain. El Gouna is also around 10km away and boasts a stunning beach.

 

Accommodation at the Festival Riviera consists of 429 elegant, classy rooms set across 5 floors. Rooms are exquisitely designed with modern furnishings and a luxurious finish. Rooms sleep 2-3 people and have a queen size bed or twin beds, plus an extra bed if required. All rooms come with satellite TV, air conditioning, a mini-fridge, bathroom shower, WC and hairdryer and balcony or terrace. Family rooms with bunk beds can also be arranged. Wired and wireless internet is available in rooms for a small charge.

 

As one would expect from a large Egyptian all-inclusive complex, the Festival Riviera provides an extensive range of facilities, some of which are shared with its sister hotel next door, the hotel Sunrise Le Jardin. There are 3 large, attractive pools with surrounding sun terraces that look spectacular when lit up at night.
