Directline Holidays FAQs
Got a quick question?
Q: What is Advanced Passenger Infromation ( API ) and why do I need to provide it?
A: It is a requirement of some countries that passenger information is submitted electronically to them before your arrival. The collection of this information is a simple process. Airlines will collect it by swiping your passport through a special machine at check-in. In addition to this some airlines may have a requirement for you to provide your API information via a link on their website a minimum of 24 or 48 hours prior to your arrival at airport for departure.
We will endeavour to notify you of any requirements for API information on your booking confirmation so please read this carefully to see if any action will be required prior to your day of departure.
