Directline Holidays FAQs

What is Self Catering?
While Self-Catering means that no meals will be included within the price of the holiday, you will be provided with catering facilities in your accommodation to cook light meals. Please carefully read the description for the accommodation you are looking to book on our website as it may provide further details.
What is Room Only?
Room Only means that no meals will be included in the price you have paid for your holiday package and it's very likely there will be no facilities for cooking within your place of stay. We recommend you carefully read the description provided for the accommodation while you are making your booking with us.
What is Half Board?
Breakfast and an evening meal will be included in the price you have paid for the accommodation element of your holiday. You may want to check, upon arrival, what time your chosen place of stay will be serving those meals.  This option of board basis would suit those of you who might consider leaving your place of stay for duration of the day, but having the convenience of eating before you head out and relaxing in the evening upon your return.
What is Bed & Breakfast?
Breakfast will be included in the price you have paid for the accommodation element of your holiday. You may want to check, upon arrival, what time your chosen place of stay stops serving though so you don’t miss out. This option of board basis would be well suited to those holiday makers who are considering leaving their place of accommodation to eat elsewhere during lunch and evening times. The breakfast offer may vary depending on the country you are staying in and the hotel itself. Some will offer ‘full English’ while others may provide a ‘continental’ style.
What is All Inclusive?
All inclusive has a variety of options and different accommodation providers now use different schemes to detail what food, drink and facilities you will be getting for your money. Those of you wanting the perfect holiday and choosing a four or five star property may want to consider going ‘all inclusive’ to make your experience the best possible available.

If booking on our website, please do read the accommodation description carefully as this will normally give further information on what to expect. Below we provide a guide to some of the options available to help you make an informed choice when booking your holiday with us.
