Paphos Weather – Beautiful spring & warm autumn
Most Cyprus holiday guides will recommend early spring as the best time to go to Paphos. Temperatures are in the 20’s, the town is quiet and the surrounding countryside is at its colourful best. Fruit trees are in blossom and wild flowers cover the hillsides. The autumn weather is also delightful. October sees plenty of sunshine and temperatures are in the 20’s. You can still swim in the sea here in November! Quiet months like May and October also see a wide choice of cheap holidays in Paphos hotels. Easter holidays see a reliable 7 or 8 hours of sunshine a day and temperatures in the low-to-mid 20’s. The weather in winter makes for a relaxing break from British gloom. Even December and January see a reliable 5 hours a day of sunshine! Warm sunshine means you can still sit in shirtsleeves on a pavement café in winter. Late winter also offers the intriguing combination of ski break excitement in the Troodos Mountains and early-season sunbathing on top Cyprus beaches!
