The Cosmelenia is a relatively small complex with a laid back atmosphere. It is made up of attractive, low-rise buildings built in a typically Greek style with white-washed walls and terracotta tiled roofs. The complex is found on the outskirts of Ayia Napa, away from the noise and madness of the town centre. As such, it’s ideal for those after a more sedate experience than the one normally associated with the vibrant nightlife of this resort. The famous white sands of Nissi beach and its lesser known but no less beautiful sister, Makronissos beach, are a 10 minute walk away. There is a bus stop outside the hotel that will take you to the resort centre, or further on to explore Paralimni, Protaras or Kermya Beach. For those interested in the area’s history, Ayia Napa Monastery and Thalassa Museum are also nearby.

 

Accommodation at the hotel consists of 34 simple but comfortable rooms. Rooms are bright, airy and clean. Studios sleeping 2-3 people come with twin beds and a sofa bed. One bedroom apartments sleeping 2-4 people have a separate twin bedroom, as well as 2 sofa or camp beds in the living area. All rooms come with self-catering facilities including a kitchenette with 2 hobs, fridge, kettle and toaster, air-conditioning, telephone, full bathroom with WC and balcony or terrace.

There’s the attractive bean-shaped pool with its wide surrounding sun terraces - a great place to enjoy the sun, and kept immaculately clean by staff. For a small fee the hotel puts on a weekly BBQ night which is very popular. There are table tennis and pool tables, as well as computers with internet access.
