The Colina Da Lapa Club is a classy, elegant complex set in beautifully maintained grounds with plenty of wide, green open spaces. Located in a peaceful area of the Algarve, the hotel is ideal for those looking for a relaxing holiday and a place to unwind. The complex consists of attractive white-washed villas and apartments surrounded by palm trees and Mediterranean gardens. There is a large outdoor pool, 3 tennis courts, a cocktail lounge and regular daytime and evening entertainment. Rooms are bright, airy and very spacious. The hotel is located close to both the Carvoeiro and Caneiros beaches, around 1.5 miles away and taking 25 minutes to reach by foot. The resort centre of Carvoeiro, a picturesque fishing village with traditional houses built on steep cliffs surrounding a sandy cove, is around 3 miles away. There is a good selection of cafes, bars and restaurants at Carvoeiro, lots of which look out across the sea. Many guests recommend hiring a car due to the secluded nature of the complex. Once you have a car at your disposal, you can drive to the nearby towns of Silves with its castle ruins or Portimao for a spot of souvenir shopping. For the more serious shopper, Guia has a vast shopping mall and entertainment centre. For a fantastic fun day out, the Slide and Splash Waterpark is a 4 mile drive away and the Zoomarine Park, with seals, walruses and dolphins is 9 miles.

 

Accommodation at the Colina Da Lapa Club consist of 73 villa-style apartments that are clean, spacious and light. Guests can choose between one bedroom apartments sleeping 2-4 people and two bedroom villas sleeping 2-6 people. All rooms come with kitchenette with 4-ring stovetop, fridge, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher, open fireplace, satellite TV, hairdryer, iron, safety deposit box, full bathroom with WC and balcony or terrace.

 

The hotel has fantastic facilities including a large outdoor pool, children’s pool, 3 tennis courts, and elegant cocktail bar. A courtesy bus runs from the hotel to the beach 3 times a day, and another operates 3 times a week to Portimao and Praia de Rocha. Guests can take meals in the elegant on-site restaurant, and once a week a poolside BBQ is arranged. There is also entertainment put on 3 times a week in the lounge. A 24-hour reception provides currency exchange, car and bicycle hire, and a laundry service. There is high-speed Wi-Fi access in all public areas.

 

Restaurants and Bars 

Board: Guests can choose between self-catering, bed and breakfast and half board catering options, with meals to be taken in the on-site a la carte restaurant. There is a supermarket roughly 15-minutes away by foot for self-caterers.  

 

Children: Children will love the children’s pool and playground. A Baby Bugs crèche runs for children aged 1-2 years old, and baby buggies can be booked in advance for a small daily fee. The hotel also provides free cots and high chairs.
