Punta Brava Holidays
Punta Brava is located on the Mayan Riviera, just south of Cancun, and is an idyllic spot for a romantic, peaceful holiday - perfect for couples and honeymooners. The resort of Punta Brava was developed 20 years ago, and sits just a few kilometers from Puerto Morelos (Punta Brava is actually known as South Beach in Puerto Morelos). Set amongst the lush tropical jungles of the Riviera Maya, Punta Brava is the home of an all-inclusive adults-only resort, set on a deserted beach, yet offering first-class facilities.

Tropical jungle and unspoilt beaches
Puerto Brava is located between the colourful laid-back town of Puerto Morelos, with its’ offshore coral reef, and Punta Maroma, a gorgeous sheltered bay just 2km to the south. The long beach at Puerto Brava winds along the coastline, and is a great spot for beachcombing. Punta Brava is the home of the El Dorado Royale, a 5 star luxury all inclusive resort set amidst 450 acres of tropical jungle, and on a 2 km stretch of unspoilt beach. The resort faces the beautiful Mexican Caribbean and is flanked by deserted beaches to the north and south, creating the feeling of complete seclusion. The El Dorado Royale in Punta Brava is packed with facilities, offering a world-class spa and numerous swimming pools, including a salt-water pool carved from rock, and a choice of five restaurants. Extensive entertainment is provided in the form of activities on the beach such as volleyball, soccer and fitness classes, and the hotel provides snorkelling equipment, kayaks and introductory scuba-diving lessons.

Punta Brava Holiday Activities
Punta Brava is a secluded peaceful resort, yet only 35 minutes from downtown Cancun and 15 minutes from the capital of the Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen, with shuttle buses running from the El Dorado Royale to both towns. Most visitors to Punta Brava tend to just relax on the beach and make the most of the hotels’ facilities, but for those who want to venture out and explore, the Mayan Riviera offers many fascinating day trips.  Trips to the ancient Mayan temples are recommended, with one of the most popular being Tulum, situated to the south of Punta Brava - one of the only civilizations built by the sea, with an impressive Castillo still perched on the limestone cliff face.
