Montego Bay Holidays
Jamaica’s most famous beach resort
Holidays in Montego Bay are based in and around Jamaica’s largest and most famous resort. Montego Bay will appeal to those looking for fantastic Caribbean beaches and a lively cosmopolitan atmosphere. The beaches are a typically Jamaican mix of fine gently shelving golden sand and beautifully clear water, stretching for around 10 miles and offering a variety of atmospheres. Try the quieter beaches away from the centre or Cornwall beach for local flavour and reggae.
A wide range of options
Holidays in Montego Bay attract a wide range of visitors of all ages. Younger visitors enjoy the lively nightlife while families enjoy the quieter beaches and hotels. Montego Bay also features all inclusive and luxury holidays in exclusive areas like Round Hill, Tryall or Half Moon. Several 18-hole courses and upmarket hotels in the area make Montego Bay popular with golfers. Local attractions include the Agua Sol theme park and the Bob Marley Experience. Visit Montego Bay at the end of July and your trip will coincide with the amazing Sumfest reggae festival.
Jamaica Tourism Enhancement Fee
From May 1st 2005 Jamaica introduced a US$10 "Jamaican tourist entry charge" which is applied to each tourist visiting Jamaica. The tourist entry fee money is paid directly to the government in an effort to raise funds to maintain Jamaica’s tourist industry and provide capital for tourism enhancement projects.

All inclusive holidays in Montego Bay
There is plenty of reggae here but things have changed since the 60s and 70s heyday. There are more resorts and more holidaymakers for one so don't expect to be confronted with boatloads of hippies and musicians. There is more to do here than you could shake a stick at so make sure you try some of the local activities. Golf, parasailing, water skiing and scuba diving are particular favourites for those adventurous enough to give them a try, whereas day trips to places like Negril, Falmouth and the Agua Sol theme park are great ways to get away from the resorts and see some more of the Island. All-inclusive cheap holidays, where you pay for flights, accommodation and meals upfront are more open than ever before with more and more resorts getting involved. You will be able to choose from anywhere between three and five star accommodations, in the centre of Montego Bay to hotels built into the cliffs around. Cuisine is the usual mix of local and international dishes.
