If you love secluded natural beaches then you will love Johnson’s Point. The beaches are sandy and white with warm tranquil waters inhabited by tropical fish. Water Sports
Water sports are popular here as you would expect from a sunny Caribbean coastal resort. Water sports in the Johnson’s Point area consist of snorkelling, wind surfing and diving. Other water activities include sailing and deep sea fishing from nearby Jolly Harbour.

Golf lovers are well catered for in Johnson’s Point. There is an 18-hole golf course only ten minutes drive north at Jolly Harbour. There is also another professional golf course at nearby St John’s. Jolly Harbour itself makes for a great day out with its restaurants, bars, boutiques and sports facilities.
Sightseeing
The best way to see Antigua is to hire a jeep and explore the area, although there are plenty of local buses available. Visit the nearby capital of St John’s where you can enjoy the sights at Fort Barrington, Nelson’s Dockyard, and Betty’s Hope, a sugar estate built in 1650. Touring Antigua will offer many photographic opportunities including the spectacular scenery along Fig Tree Drive.
Diving
There are many good dive centres in Antigua and sunken wreck and night dives should not be missed. Other diving experiences include the 2 mile Cades Reef and the amazing Pillars of Hercules. Dive centres are located all around the island and are easily accessible from Johnson’s Point.
