The Blue Star Apartments have an excellent location for those who enjoy their holidays near the sand and sea, with the gorgeous Gran Canarias Puerto Rico beach just a few minutes’ walk down the hillside from the hotel. The hillside location may make this complex unsuitable for families with pushchairs or elderly people. The complex lies roughly between the Puerto Rico and Amadores resort centres, with bus stops 50m from the hotel running services to both. A day trip to the stunning sandy beach at Amadores is a must. A number of bars, restaurants, boutiques and shopping facilities can be found in the area surrounding the hotel and at the nearby Europa Centre, where there is a lively nightlife scene.

 

Accommodation at the Blue Star Apartments consists of 157 apartments spread over 9 floors. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and many boast fantastic sea views. Room types include one bedroom apartments sleeping up to 4 people (either 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children) and two bedroom apartments sleeping up to 5 adults with 2 twin bedrooms. All rooms have a lounge area with pull-out sofa bed, kitchenette 2 cooking rings and fridge, satellite TV, safety deposit box, telephone, full bathroom with WC and balcony or terrace.

 

The Blue Star Apartments offer a good range of facilities for guests to enjoy. There is an attractive outside pool that looks out across the ocean, surrounded by terraces and next to a poolside bar that serves snacks and refreshments throughout the day. A separate children’s pool is located indoors on the 5^th floor of the hotel. There is a small a la carte restaurant on-site; however this is only open during peak season. The hotel’s mini supermarket provides essential supplies for those guests who opt to self-cater. Entertainment facilities include a hard-surface tennis court, pool table, 5-a-side football pitch, billiards and mini golf. The 24 hour reception provides a laundry service and currency exchange, and there are public internet terminals.
