A break in the town offers the chance to visit resorts such as Kololi, Kotu and and Bakau, and relax on the lovely sandy beaches, whilst enjoying their hotels, bars, restaurants and stalls which provide tourists with convenient amenities. Although resorts such as Kolili are fairly established, the beaches tend to be uncrowded and the atmosphere is very laid-back. A stay here provides plenty of choice, be it exploring the Atlantic coastline and relaxing in the African sunshine, enjoying energetic watersports, big-game fishing or four-wheel drive tours.

Whilst in Banjul, explore the town centre and discover all it has to offer. Holidays to Banjul are accessed by the Gambia's only airport, Yundum, which lies just 20 km from the town.
