Smarjske Toplice is a stunning destination any time of year, but most of all during the summer. Blue skies and sunshine make for an ideal time to experience the temperate local forests, with only mild humidity between June and August. Temperatures have been known to peak at 25C and long days with plenty of sun are common. Rain is not impossible during the summer and showers can be expected on a third to a half of days in some months, being slightly heavier towards the beginning of the summer. As the town is inland storms are less common.
