A holiday in Milocer means you are only 7km by road from the beautifully restored and charming town of Budva, but it's far more fun to take a water taxi! Budva offers relaxed nightlife and shopping in picturesque surroundings.
History
Opposite Milocer lies the tidal island of St Stefan, where a 15th Century town perches on the rocks, boasting three ancient preserved churches.
Sports
Water sports are available in Milocer bay for all the family. For the more adventurous, drive north-east to try white water rafting through deep green canyons on the beautiful Tara River. Skiing is possible during winter.
Explore Montenegro
It is well worth travelling outside the Milocer bay to visit some of the attractions of Montenegro. Take a day trip to the Old Capital of Cetinje to see the Royal Palace of King Nikolas and the world famous museums. The cave church Monastery of Ostrog is also worth a visit, being carved into a vertical rocky cliff face, 900m above sea level.
Walking & Hiking
Montenegro itself is named after the black mountains of the Dinaric Alps that make up most of the country. These mountains are some of the most beautiful and least visited in all of Europe. Nevertheless, these wild mountains are accessible to walkers and trekkers of all ages. Nature lovers can enjoy bird spotting.
Food
Montenegrin food is heavily influenced by Italian, Hungarian and Turkish cuisine, with a wide range of breads, meats, soups and continental desserts made from local ingredients. Fresh seafood from the Adriatic sea is a favourite in Milocer, and the nearby fishing village of Przno contain many restaurants packed with fresh fish, squid, shrimps and mussels for visitors to enjoy.
