Supetar Things to do
Beaches
Brac is home to many stunning beaches, and Supetar has been described as holding some of Croatia’s best hidden beaches. There are numerous sun drenched bays and coves along the Supetar coastline that are perfect for swimming, water sports or simply relaxing in the sun. The 40 minute trip to Croatia’s must famous beach Zlatni Rat should be made at least once.
Water Sports
Water-skiing, fishing, boating and windsurfing are among the many water sports available in Supetar. There is a dive centre in Supetar with fully trained instructors who will provide lessons and excursions. Dives excursions in the crystal clear Adriatic waters can include underwater islands, shipwreck diving and caverns.
Sightseeing
Sightseeing on a holiday in Supetar can include the one hour ferry crossing direct from Supetar to Split, the largest coastal city in Croatia. Split is an important cultural and historical centre as well as being a vibrant cosmopolitan city. The beautiful city of Dubrovnik can also be visited to view the gorgeous beaches, ancient historical sites and to sample some of the best seafood restaurants in Croatia.
Sports Activities
For a day out with a difference why not try white water rafting down the Cetina River or forget the raft and go canyoning down the river supported only by life jackets. Cycling, horse riding and fishing are also available on Brac. Tennis, volleyball and paragliding are also popular sports in Supetar.
Nightlife
As the sun goes down the bars and nightclubs of Supetar’s busy main street Put Vele Luke become the focus of the evening. Lively bars, excellent restaurants and very late night dance venues are all available here. Trips to Bol and Split will reward holidaymakers with numerous nightlife options, with Split providing some of the best restaurants and liveliest bars on the Croatian coastline.
