Slano is a small, quiet fishing village on a fine, deep bay backed by wooded hills, 20 miles north of Dubrovnik, and around 75 minutes from Dubrovnik airport - Ideal for those looking for a peaceful, uncomplicated holiday away from the bigger crowds in the larger, livelier resorts. For most visitors, the series of beaches and swimming platforms, and the village harbour with its waterfront cafes and bars the attraction of Slano. Weather in Slano 

Summer temperatures will reach up to 30C and nine hours of hot sunshine is the norm. Slano is blessed with a mild climate even during the short winter months and rainfall is distributed evenly throughout the year. Humidity levels are low even during the summer months making for a more comfortable climate. The Dubrovnik Riviera is known for its winds but these tend to stick to the late autumn to early spring months.
