Primosten Things to do

Primosten boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia. The idyllic Blue Flag Raduca Beach is one of the best and is set in a stunning bay backed by fragrant pine trees. There are several little islands around Primosten with their own secluded beaches including Smokvica Island with its own naturist beach.

The hot summer weather makes water sports in Primosten a popular activity. Windsurfing, water scooters, snorkelling and boating are all available. Scuba diving courses are available from dive centres in Primosten, and the crystal clear Adriatic is the perfect place for both beginners and seasoned divers.

 

A trip from Primosten to Krka National Park will reward holidaymakers with an abundance of lakes, waterfalls and the 15^th century Visovac Monastery located on an island in Lake Visovac. Boat trips to islands such as Hvar and Brac should be included to view beaches such as the world’s most photographed beach Zlatni Rat (golden horn).

 

Day trips from Primosten can include Split, Croatia’s largest coastal city. This vibrant city holds a wealth of historic monuments and cultural events including the annual summer Split festival. Trogir is another historic town that boasts a stunning harbour area where boats trips can be taken along the Trogir Riviera. Boat trips to the magnificent city of Dubrovnik should also be included at least once.

 

Primosten is home to one of Croatia’s best and most famous nightclubs, Aurora. This nightclub attracts big names DJs from around the world and holds numerous dance floors and a swimming pool over its two floors. The huge open air Hacienda nightclub is regarded as one of the best summer clubs in Croatia. These clubs and many more are located only 2Km from Primosten.
