Luna Bay Things To Do

Beach
Luna Bay beach is a fine, sandy beach surrounded by the unspoilt natural Bulgarian countryside. The beach offers fine views over the Black Sea and is popular with families and couples enjoying the many water sports or simply lounging in the warm sun.

Restaurants
The surrounding area is home to some fabulous restaurants, cafes and bars. Head to nearby Varna and you sample some of the best restaurants in Bulgaria. The cafes and restaurants around the seafront serve the freshest seafood dishes in the country.

Nightlife
Nightlife in Luna Bay can be as quiet or as busy as you like. Luna Bay itself is more family orientated but only a short taxi ride away you have the bustling all night bars and nightclubs of Golden Sands and Varna. The choice is yours between quieter nights or vibrant nights that last until the small hours.

Excursions
Excursions from Luna Bay should include cruises up the Black Sea where you can swim, fish or simply lounge in the sun and watch the beautiful coastline drift by. There are also hiking trips into the countryside where you can explore ancient Roman sites and sacred cities.

Water Sports
As you would expect from a beach resort there is no lack of water sports in Luna Bay. Try your hand at jet-skiing or water-skiing, the very brave can soar through the sky by para-gliding, or there are always the ever popular banana boat rides throughout the day.

Traditional Bulgaria
Make sure that you plan a visit and take in the traditional villages of Bulgaria. Stop off at little village bars and cafes where you can relax on the terraces or gardens.  Have some lunch and order some home grown Bulgarian wine that will sometimes be poured straight from the cask. Prices are very inexpensive in the little village bars so don’t overdo the mastika; a local spirit that is highly potent, not to mention cheap.
