Duni Holidays
Attractive Black Sea holiday village
Holidays in Duni will appeal to those looking for natural attractions as well as the sunny sandy beaches, cheap accommodation and economical restaurants associated with Bulgaria holidays. Duni holidays are based around a relatively modern, purpose-built holiday village on a superb bay between Sozopol and Primorsko, on the sunny Black Sea coast of Bulgaria, 28 miles south of Bourgas and a short transfer from Varna airport. Duni holiday accommodation is thankfully low on Communist-era monoliths. The majority of Duni holidays feature attractive whitewashed villas with fine views, set in pleasant green surroundings. Holidays in the Duni Holiday Village are a particular favourite with British visitors. Nightlife in Duni tends to revolve around organised resort entertainment, but Duni holidays can include a night out at the disco and live shows. Duni hotel restaurants are supplemented with local Bulgarian food and plenty of familiar economical tourist fare.
Great for children
Duni Beach stretches for nearly 3 miles: a wide, semi-circle of golden sand and dunes backed by wooded hills. A kindergarten, playgrounds and exceptionally clean, shallow, calm water make Duni holidays ideal for families with small children. Duni Beach offers plenty for watersports enthusiasts, including professional instruction. Duni holidays are well placed for exploring unspoilt neighbouring beaches like Alepou and Arkoutino, and the small coves and sheltered sandy beaches around Cape Maslen.
Birdwatching and nature reserves
Late summer holidays in Duni attract keen birdwatchers. Birdwatching holidays in Duni centre on the nature reserves around Stomoplo and Madren Lake, and the Alepou Marsh nature reserve. Walkers and cyclists on holiday in Duni should head for the Otmanli Park near Bourgas. All Duni holidays should include a trip into the university city of Bourgas for museums, nature parks and an insight into everyday life in Bulgaria.
