Zahara de los Atunes Weather

Zahara de los Atune’s is blessed with over 3000 hours of sunshine per year and a mild climate even during the winter months. Summer temperatures do reach up to and sometimes over the 30C mark during the months of July and August. Rainfall in Zahara de los Atunes tends to stick mainly to the late autumn and early spring months but will usually come in the form short lived showers. The climate will be perfect for holiday makers who love sunny weather but at a more manageable level than some of the hotter locations iun Spain.

 

Zahara de los Atunes benefits from miles of golden beaches with the perfect climate to compliment them. June through September are the peak summer months when the temperature does head over the 25C mark. Do not be surprised if the temperature does head over 30C, although ocean breezes will drift in to make the heat more manageable. Sunshine levels are also high at around 8 to 12 hours of sunshine per day during the summer season. Zahara beach will be busy with holiday makers enjoying the warm Atlantic Ocean and partaking of the numerous water sports this area is famous for.

The late spring and the autumn months are also popular times for a holiday in Zahara de los Atunes. Temperatures will over the 20C mark and with around eight hours per day. The slightly lower temperatures make this the perfect time of the year to explore the Cadiz province or simply enjoy the sunny beaches. There may be a slight chance of rain during these periods but showers will not dampen the temperatures. For a more laid back holiday with a sunny Spanish climate a holiday in Zahara de los Atunes will be hard to beat.
