Yaiza Weather

Yiaza lies on the very southern tip of Lanzarote, and thanks to its location, enjoys some of the best weather on the island, with less cloud and less wind than in the north. The resort experiences an average annual temperature of 21C, and like the rest of the Lanzarote and the Canary Islands, enjoys an enviable climate, with permanent spring-like weather and plenty of sunshine.

 

A year-round destination, Yaiza sees great weather, with constant high temperatures and an abundance of sunshine. Spring months see very pleasant highs of 21C, ideal for sightseeing, especially touring the amazing volcanic landscapes and the national park nearby. The summer months experience higher temperatures of 24C - 27C, and at least 9 hours of sunshine each day, with humidity levels reaching their highest in August. Water temperatures hover around 20C - 22C, and the beach at Playa Blanca offers the perfect spot for peaceful relaxation. Rainfall is extremely limited in Yaiza throughout the year, with the spring and summer months seeing virtually no rain at all.

 

Winters see the temperatures drop a little in Yaiza, with January experiencing the coolest temperatures of 19C, yet still enjoying a minimum of 6 hours of sun each day. November and December see the wettest weather in Yaiza, receiving 28mm - 34mm each month respectively.
