A major holiday draw is the beautiful beaches in Vilamoura. You can choose from the blue flagged, sandy beach of Falesia that stretches for around 10km or head to the Marina Beach. There is no shortage of water sports down by the beach area. Diving, snorkelling and water skiing are popular and equipment can be hired around the beach area or from the marina.
The Marina
The marina in Vilamoura is the social centre for numerous reasons. Hundreds of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes are clustered together in this area and it is where people come to see and be seen. Everyday here is different and the area is a vibrant mixture of colour and music.
