Velsao Weather

Holidays in Velsao are all about relaxation and what better way to relax than on a sun drenched Goan beach. The weather in Velsao is hot and sunny all year round and even the monsoon season that occurs from May to September will not dampen the temperatures. Throughout most of the year the temperature in Velsao will not usually dip below the 30C mark. October to March is the most popular holiday season in Velsao and the temperatures at this time of the year will be around 32C giving an average of nine hours sunshine per day. There is very little chance of rain during this period and it is the ideal time for a Christmas or New Year break on the sun drenched beaches of Goa.

 

Although the monsoon season stretches from May to September it will not rain continuously and the temperatures will still be high. This is the ideal time of the year to pick up an off season holiday and enjoy some fantastic beach weather. For cooler temperatures with little chance of rain a visit to Velsao from January onwards may be the wise choice, although temperatures will still be around the 30C mark. Late spring and early October will see very high temperatures and a slight chance of rain as the monsoon season begins and ends.
