Beaches
The long pristine coastline offers a wonderful setting for a tropical beach holiday, and Varadaro beaches boast Caribbean-style white sands, azure blue seas and swaying palms - an idyllic base for relaxed sunbathing and swimming - with a host of convenient facilities for guests.
Water Sports
For those looking for action on the beach, Varadero offers plenty of water sports, with jet-skiing, windsurfing, sailing, yachting, aquabiking, kayaking, canoeing and parasailing available.
Scuba-Diving & Snorkelling

Organised boat trips depart from one of Varadero's marinas and include glass-bottomed boat rides, mangrove tours, sunset cruises, island sightseeing tours, speedboat rides and fishing expeditions. Paddle boats, hobie cats and sailboats are all available to rent.
Dolphinarium
The local dolphinarium offers regular dolphin shows, and the chance to swim with these graceful sea creatures - a popular family holiday activity with many holiday-makers, and a memorable experience.
Sports & Leisure
Hotels offer swimming pools, tennis courts, gyms and fitness centres, with facilities for golf, go-karting and bowling, and skydiving and parachute jumping for the adventurous. Jeep tours, mountain biking, horse riding, motorbike and scooter rental allow visitors on activity holidays to explore the resort and its surrounding areas.
Entertainment
Cuba's most popular resort doesn't disappoint on the entertainment front, with Varadero boasting a lively nightlife scene full of clubs, bars and restaurants in which to experience the vibrant Cuban way of life. Hotels are known for their in-house entertainment, with cabaret shows, theatre performances, live music and dancing.
Day Trips
Visit the peaceful Parque Josone, Al Capone's home, the Bellamar Caves and the city of Cardenas. There are jungle tours and trips to a cigar factory, with longer excursions including day and overnight trips to Matanzas, Havana, Trinidad, Cayo Coco or Cayo Largo.
