Vale de Parra Weather

The Algarve is famed for its sunny climate, and the weather in Vale de Parra is no exception. Vale de Parra’s climate consists of long hot summers and short mild winters. Boasting a record-breaking 3000 hours of sunshine per year this stretch of the Algarve coastline is a beach lover’s paradise. Temperatures during the peak summer months will be around the 30C mark but the heat is never uncomfortable thanks to cooling breezes that drift in from the Atlantic Ocean. Vale de Parra is a year round sunshine destination making it the perfect option for a beach holiday during the summer or a sunshine break during the winter months.

 

The idyllic weather in Vale de Parra and the excellent beaches make this area of Portugal a favourite with British holidaymakers. The temperature does head over the 20C mark from April and will not usually fall below this until late October. June through to the end of September will see temperatures just under the 30C mark and the sun will be shining down for around 11 hours per day. The Atlantic Ocean temperatures during the late spring, summer, and early autumn months are, at around 20C and upwards, perfect for swimming. Rain during the summer months is so rare that it is not worth mentioning.
