Tunisia Reviews
Our Review of Tunisia...
Tunisia is consistently one of our most popular destinations for holidays in Africa. This country offers plenty of exotic North African atmosphere with its traditional souk markets, walled medinas, ancient sites, mosques, minarets, Berber villages and desert adventure. But at the same time there are plenty of familiar features of a modern Mediterranean beach resort holiday, not least the fabulous, white sandy beaches ideal for relaxed sunbathing, swimming, watersports and diving. The superb sunny climate and the short 3 hour flight make Tunisia a natural golf and winter sun destination. Tunisia has an excellent reputation for classy family package holidays and comfortable luxury hotels. Long-established beach resorts like Gammarth and Hammamet offer plenty of enjoyable entertainment, a huge choice of restaurants and terrific beaches. Hammamet Yasmine and Port El Kantaoui both offer exceptional 5 star hotels and purpose-built comfort. Classic beach resorts like Mahdia and Skanes combine great beaches, enjoyable resort life and atmospheric old towns. Sousse and Monastir are especially rich in history and culture. For truly sensational beaches try atmospheric Djerba Island.

“Tunisia is a very easy and comfortable way into Africa. The modern facilities at Hammamet Yasmine are first class. It’s all so relaxing it’s easy to pass on the excursions but you must go on a desert safari to see the amazing traditional way of life”
Mrs S Horne, Rotherham UK
“Thanks for recommending Sousse. The beaches were beautifully looked after and the old town far exceeded our expectations. There was so much to see and all so atmospheric, colourful and relaxed. Gorgeous weather.”
Ms N Benson, Sheffield UK
“Tunisia is a great way to get into Africa especially if you are going with kids. There’s plenty of exotic atmosphere and the culture and history is fascinating, but at the end of the day you’ve got some fantastic modern and surprisingly classy accommodation to relax in. We were really surprised how much entertainment there was on offer too.”
