Beaches
Tucepi beaches are stunning; long golden beaches and bays surrounded by sheltering pine trees with the shores lapped by turquoise warm waters. Tucepi has the longest beach on the Makarska Riviera so there will be no problem finding a secluded spot on which to stretch out and relax.
Water Sports
As you would expect from a resort with beautiful beaches there is no lack of water sports facilities in Tucepi. Try your hand at para-sailing, jet-skiing and water-skiing. Restaurants
There is a good selection of restaurants in Tucepi serving traditional Croatian dishes with locally sourced ingredients. There are also a number of international dishes available and the seafood dishes are the freshest available. Dining is a leisurely affair on the open air restaurant terraces where you can enjoy delicious food washed down with local wines, spirits, and beers.
Nightlife
The nightlife in Tucepi can be as low key or as lively as you wish. There are plenty of pubs and bars in Tucepi where you can enjoy a quiet drink and listen to some live music. For something livelier, head to vibrant Makarsk. Nightclubs in Makarsk include the famous Deep bar and Grotta disco situated in a cave. There are also plenty of lively bars and clubs located along the Makarska beach front area.
Excursions
If you can drag yourself away from Tucepi Beach then there are plenty of excursions and day trips. Visiting Makarska should definitely not be missed but a trip to the ancient town of Dubrovnik is also a sightseeing pleasure. The islands of Brac and Hvar are definitely worth seeing for the amazing beaches alone. Boat cruises are very popular along the Makarska Riviera with dining and drinks onboard and stops at some of the beautiful Croatian islands. |
