Trivandrum, the capital of the state of Kerala is a city built on seven hills and is the arrival airport for the Kerala coast. Located at the South Western tip of India, is bounded by the Arabian Sea on the West and Tamil Nadu on the East. The city gets its name from the word, Thiru Ananthapuram meaning the city of Ananth or the abode of the sacred serpent Anantha, on which Lord Vishnu, the presiding deity of the town, reclines.
