Torrent Things To Do

Beaches are one of the highlights of any holiday in the Costa Brava and the resort of Torrent is no exception.  Small postcard pretty beaches can be found at nearby Llafranc and Tamariu while larger beaches with numerous water sports facilities can be found at Tossa de Mar and Platja d’Aro. A holiday in Torrent provides numerous exciting sightseeing attractions. The volcanic landscape of the Garrotxa National Park and the panoramic views from the lighthouse high above Llafranc are photographic opportunities not to be missed. The medieval town of Pals is a definite step back in time and strolling through the small sunny streets is a pleasure. Take a boat trip from Tamariu to the famous cave Cova d’en Gispert or cruise along the coastline stopping off for a dip at secluded beach areas.

The surrounding beautiful Catalonian countryside is perfect for walking and hiking to the small traditional villages this area is famous for.

 

Scuba diving in Torrent is a major draw for many visitors. There are dive centres in the area such as the Barracuda Diving Centre in Llafranc. Dives can include underwater mountains where divers can swim with Barracudas and Side Congers.
