Torrent Weather

Holidays in Torrent are a mix of traditional Catalonian villages, beautiful coastal beaches, and the spectacular Costa Brava weather. Torrent boasts an all year round sunny climate with summer temperatures that head over the 30C mark. Sunshine levels are high throughout the year and the peak summer months will provide around 10 hours of sunshine per day. The heat in Torrent is less intense than that found in the more southern Costa Brava resorts, and the Mediterranean Sea breezes do make the heat pleasant and comfortable. Short-lived rainfall will usually tend to stick to the spring and autumn months and will not usually disturb any summer holiday in Torrent.

 

As you would expect from a Mediterranean resort the weather in Torrent is exceptional. From June through September the temperature in Torrent will not usually dip below the 25C mark. This is the perfect time of the year to lounge on the sun drenched beaches at Llafranc and Tamariu or to explore the scenic Catalonian countryside. July and August will bring the highest temperatures in Torrent at 30C and over and there will be an average of 10 hours of sunshine per day. During the summer months the Mediterranean Sea temperatures will be around the 23C mark making the waters perfect for swimming, snorkelling, and diving.

The climate in Torrent is one of changing seasons; the summers will be long and hot and the winters will be short and mild. Winter temperatures will still be warm at around 13C with five hours of sunshine per day; more than enough sunshine to pick up a winter tan. The spring months will see the surrounding countryside bathed in sunshine and awash with colour. An October holiday in Torrent will provide temperatures over the 20C mark with plenty of sunshine and the occasional short lived shower.
