With an average annual temperature of 22C, and 330 days of sunshine every year, Torremolinos boasts an enviable climate. The months of  March and April see temperatures of 22C, rising to 26C in May. Peak season temperatures in June and July hover between 29C - 30C, with the average August temperature reaching 32C. Torremolinos, on average, receives around 12 hours of sunshine every day in the summer, and the beaches are packed during these hot sunny days, with the water temperature reaching 24C in the height of the season. Coastal temperatures in Torremolinos tend to be a little cooler than inland, with sea breezes serving to lower the heat.

The warm sunny winters, in particular, make the Costa del Sol a favourite off-season destination for British visitors, and those looking for a second home. September and October see temperatures of around 25C - 30C, with November dropping to 22C. Even in low season, the temperatures in December and January still remain at around 16C - 17C, with plenty of sunshine. The sheltered coastline means Torremolinos receives limited rainfall, with October being the wettest month, seeing an average of 40mm.
