Weather in Tizzano - Mediterranean climate in sleepy Corsican fishing village
The little fishing port of Tizzano is situated in an isolated region on the southwest coast of Corsica, just 28km from the major tourist resort of Propriano. A small and unspoilt resort, Tizzano experiences a typically-Mediterranean climate, with hot sunny summers and mild winters. The average annual temperature in Tizzano is 17C, and the main tourist season runs from May to September.
 
Weather in Tizzano - Hot summer sunshine, with low humidity
May sees average temperatures of 18C, and around 9 hours of sunshine each day, with the month still being fairly changeable, receiving 43mm of rainfall. June heats up to 22C, with 10 hours of sun and the rainfall decreasing to 23mm, however the waters of the Mediterranean are still fairly chilly, at 20C. July and August see the hottest weather, with highs of 26C, 11 hours of sunshine and limited rainfall, as little as 10mm - 20mm each month. Visitors can enjoy pleasant evening temperatures of 17C, and low humidity levels during the peak season, making comfortable conditions for sightseeing and sunbathing, especially with the warmer water temperatures of 23C - 24C.
 
Weather in Tizzano - Warm spring and autumn days
Late in the season Tizzano continues to experience warm weather, with September seeing highs of 23C and October 19C, and the resort still enjoying 7 - 8 hours of sunshine each day. Rainfall increases to 80mm during October, with November being the wettest month, seeing 100mm fall during this time. The winter months remain mild, experiencing average temperatures of 15C in November, and 11C - 12C from December to February.
