TUI To Launch Thomson Airways - Wed. 18 Jun. 2008
From May 2009, Thomsonfly and First Choice Airways will fly under just one brand to be known as Thomson Airways. Since the merger of TUI AG owned Thomson holidays and First Choice last year, a number of brands have been reorganized and Thomsonfly and First Choice are just the latest.
Thomson holidays has announced that it is to introduce more flexible holiday packages with 10 and 11 night holidays available from summer 2009. The announcement suggests Thomson wants to position itself further away from the 7 and 14 night traditional package holidays.

Thomson holidays is trialling new website technology for its agents in 100 shops before it hopes to expand the service to its full retail network over next year. Thomson has adapted its website for agents in their shops so that they may enter IATA codes and access late deals.
Thomson Ski is introducing all-inclusive deals in time for the 2008/09 season next winter. The Thomson Ski & Snowboarding brochure is currently available as a preview, featuring 87 resorts spanning 13 countries throughout Europe, US and Canada.
Thomson Partners TripAdvisor - Tue. 09 Oct. 2007
Thomson has partnered TripAdvisor so that hotel reviews now appear on its own website. The deal will see the five most recent reviews displayed when users choose to access the 'TripAdvisor average rating’ on the Thomson website.
Thomson Cruises will make a return to Caribbean holiday destinations in time for Christmas 2008 following an eight year absence.

Thomson Holidays has taken a step forward in its high street advertising by creating a digital window for its Chester branch. The new window display will feature two 42" digital posters and replace handwritten paper posters.
Thomsonfly 2008 Ticket Sale - Fri. 17 Aug. 2007
Thomsonfly has put thousands of tickets on sale for summer 2008 travel with destinations including Alicante, Ibiza and Faro. Prices for many of the tickets start from £34.99 for one-way, including taxes and additional charges.
Thomson is to launch the ‘Premier Collection’ brand which will showcase its highest quality and most popular hotels in accordance to star rating and customer reviews.
Thomson holidays have signed an exclusive deal with online travel review site TripAdvisor that will include hotel and destination reviews on the Thomson Holidays website. Thomson holidays parent company TUI Travel, have stated that they are aiming for full integration of TripAdvisor reviews by September 2007.
