Islands
The legendary islands of southern Thailand offer some of the most beautiful beach scenery in the world and have resorts that cater for every conceivable taste. Buddhist Temples
Explore the rich culture and religious traditions of Thailand with a visit to a Buddhist temple. There are over 30,000 temples nationwide with some dating back to before Christianity and containing priceless artefacts, murals and gilded Buddha images. Admire the intricate architecture with Indian, Chinese and Khmer influences. Inspiring and unique, a temple visit is an enlightening experience and one not to be missed.

Scuba Diving
Diving enthusiasts are spoilt for choice with world class diving to be found throughout the country and a well established industry offering professional operators and low prices. Coral reefs are generally in excellent condition and marine life is abundant and varied. Live aboard dive cruising is especially popular around the southern islands and is a convenient way to experience a range of underwater conditions over a wide area. This is also an ideal way to discover near deserted islands and immaculate marine reserves far from conventional tourism.

Hill Trekking
The unique terrain of north Thailand is a popular trekking destination for visitors where terraced rice fields, lush forests and ethnic hill tribe communities can be witnessed. Walks last for 3-5 days and are undemanding yet rewarding exercise with numerous inspiring sights. Combining activities such as river rafting and elephant rides a trek through the hills offers incredible natural beauty and a glimpse of the real Thailand.

Bangkok
No holiday to Thailand would seem complete without a stay in the teeming metropolis of Bangkok. Brash, bustling and noisy, it also contains some amazing historic and cultural sights and excellent shopping. Do visit the Grand Palace, the official royal residence of the King of Thailand. It houses numerous ornate Buddhist temples and the sacred emerald Buddha and is the most revered building in the city. Attend the less refined surroundings of Chatuchak market, a tourist attraction in its own right, which has over 10,000 stalls and attracts over 200,000 visitors every day. All manner of goods are sold here from household items, clothes, gifts, handicrafts and local produce.
