Weather in Tamariu - Mediterranean climate on the Costa Brava
Tamariu sits on the central Costa Brava, close to the resorts of Llanfranc and Palafrugell, and just 45km east of Girona. This pretty fishing village enjoys typically-Mediterranean weather, with hot dry summers and comfortable mild winters, and an abundance of sunshine all-year round.

Tamarui attracts most visitors to its sandy beaches during the peak summer months, when the temperatures are high and the waters of the Mediterranean are warm and great for swimming. June sees average early summer highs of 23C, and 9 hours of sun each day, with July and August rising to an average of 26C (sometimes seeing highs of 29C) and receiving up to 10 hours of sunshine. Sea temperatures during the summer months are a comfortable 22C - 24C - ideal for water sports, with conditions especially good for scuba diving in this well-known dive site. Rainfall is limited during the summer months in Tamariu, with the town seeing around 23mm in July. For those looking for cooler temperatures, spring and autumn is a popular time to visit, with pleasant highs of 16C - 19C and 8 - 9 hours of sun meaning visitors can enjoy outdoor activities such as walking, cycling and horse riding in warm sunny conditions.
Weather in Tamariu - Mild winters, heavier rainfall
Winters are mild on the Costa Brava, with temperatures here only dropping down to 11C during the coldest months of December and January. October sees the wettest weather, with the month receiving an average 157mm of rainfall, and spring also seeing some heavy rain - an average of 93mm in April. The winters see fairly constant amounts of rain, with between 60mm - 75mm falling each month during the low season.
