Sveti Stefan Weather

Spectacular beaches and an excellent climate for much of the year have led to Sveti Stefan becoming a popular sunshine holiday destination. The Budva Riviera is blessed with an abundance of sunshine and boasts a record breaking 2300 hours of sunshine per years. Peak summer temperatures will be around and over the 30C mark and the sun will shining down for 12 hours per day. Rainfall in Sveti Stefan is evenly distributed throughout the year and humidity levels are relatively low making the heat pleasantly comfortable.

 

Beach lovers will be in heaven thanks to the high temperatures, abundance of sunshine, and the beautiful beaches found along the coastline. Sveti Stefan boasts a typically Mediterranean climate, which means long hot dry summers. From late April until early October the temperature will not usually dip below 20C. The peak summer months of June, July and August will provide temperatures of around 30C and over. The Adriatic Sea temperature will be around 25C during the summer; perfect for swimming, diving and water sports. Summer, spring, and autumn months are perfect for relaxing on the beaches or exploring the Montenegro coastline.

 

Spring and autumn in Montenegro will be slightly cooler although temperatures during April and October will still be warm at around 18C. There will be plenty of warm sunny days at this time of the year although infrequent showers may occur. Winter temperatures will hover around the 9C mark and there will be more rainfall at this time of the year although there will also be plenty of sunny days. Holiday makers who are looking for an idyllic beach resort with plenty of sunshine and stunning scenery will find Sveti Stefan hard to beat.
