St Lucie de Porto Vecchia Weather

The village of St Lucie de Porto Vecchio is located 12km from Porto Vecchio on the southeast coast of Corsica, and, like the rest of the island, enjoys a typically-Mediterranean climate, experiencing long hot summers and mild winters. A quiet peaceful base, the resort lies just 3km from the sandy beaches along the coast, and offers ideal weather for relaxing sunbathing, outdoor activities and leisurely sightseeing.

 

May to September sees the best conditions for a St Lucie de Porto Vecchio holiday, with warm dry days experiencing plenty of sunshine. April and May typically see average highs of 16C - 20C during the spring, and between 7 - 9 hours of sun each day - creating ideal conditions for walking, hiking, biking and horse riding. June sees highs of 23C, rising to 27C in the peak season months of July and August, with these hot days the perfect time to explore the beaches of the southeast coast. Visitors can enjoy around 10 - 11 hours of sunshine each day, and water temperatures of between 23C - 25C in the sea. Days are dry, with St Lucie de Porto Vecchio receiving limited rainfall from June to August - around 10mm - 20mm each month, and up to 30mm - 40mm in May and September. Night time temperatures remain pleasant, around 19C - 20C during the summer.   

 

Autumn brings more changeable weather, with St Lucie de Porto Vecchio seeing the level of rainfall increase in October, rising to 75mm during the month, with the temperatures still hovering around 20C, and dropping to 14C during the night. Winters experience lows of 12C during January, and a minimum of 4 hours of sunshine each day.
