Holidays in St. Julian’s – A charming former fishing town
The coastline around St. Julian’s is filled with a rocky shoreline, with the town stretching from the charming and picturesque Spinola Bay along to St. George’s Bay, and affording magnificent views across to the capital, Valletta. Whilst St. George’s Bay offers a small sandy beach, most of the sunbathing around the St. Julian’s area is done at the many lidos found along the coastline, one of the best being the Reef Club, an exclusive beach club on the front offering a wide selection of watersports and a good pool. The small rocky beach at nearby Paceville is a popular day out and tends to get quite crowded, and is an excellent choice for snorkelling and scuba-diving. Neighbouring Sliema is just along the coastline and offers great shopping and restaurants, and Paceville offers plenty of vibrant nightlife.
