"I don't think you can beat Cyprus for great beaches, perfect weather and friendly welcoming people. We have been all over Southern Cyprus and have liked Protatas the best. You must hire a car and tour round as the island is absolutely beautiful. There is so much to see - the Troodos Mountains are spectacular (there are many organised trips there), and Nicosia is a really interesting day trip."

"We thought at first that Southern Cyprus would be too commercial, but stayed in Polis in the west of the island and it exceeded our expectations! Stayed in a wonderfully peaceful hotel, and it was an ideal location for both exploring the beautiful surroundings and hitting the secluded beaches around the bay. Boat trip to Latchi was memorable. Fantastic restaurants in town - in general we had an excellent time!"

"Cyprus is great for families - we went to Coral Bay, loved it and would go back tomorrow! Our apartment was clean and well-looked after, and was well-equipped for a family. The beach was the best part, we went every day as everyone was so happy there! Stayed local for most meals, and went to Paphos for day trip and shopping in Limassol. Extremely relaxing fun-filled family holiday."
