The beaches in South Beach are world famous and attract both holiday-makers and the celebrities. South Beach itself is a white sand haven where the beautiful people hang out. Haulover Beach at the north end of Miami Beach is a clothes optional beach but both beaches have an abundance of water sports activities, restaurants and shops.
Nightlife
The nightlife in South Beach is second to none with its sizzling nightclubs, cocktail bars, casinos and poolside dance floors. You can try a different nightclub every night of the week and still not have seen it all. This is a party town that doesn’t like to sleep, except during the day on the beach.
Sightseeing
Sightseeing in South Beach should definitely include a trip to the famous Everglades National Park. You can spot alligators and crocodiles as you sail around this floating river of grass. This is deservedly named as one of Florida’s top tourist attractions and is an unforgettable experience.
Shopping
If you love shopping then you will be in heaven in South Beach. From designer boutiques to funky vintage clothing stores to huge shopping malls, South Beach has it all. Strolling down the open air shopping mall at Lincoln Road is a shopping adventure in itself. You will always pay less for goods in the USA than in the UK so break open the credit card and grab a bargain.
Restaurants
There is no shortage of fantastic restaurants in South Beach. You will be spoilt for choice with the open air garden terraces and the upmarket stylish eateries and trendy cafes and bars. French, Italian, Mediterranean, Asian, and Nuevo Latino are just a small selection of the cuisine on offer. If you love food you will be in heaven with the choice of restaurants available in South Beach.
