The summer season in Son Parc runs from May right through to October, with temperatures remaining high throughout. Temperatures in Son Parc regularly reach over 30°C during the summer, and daily sunshine hours rise to 8 hours in May, reaching a generous 11 hours in July. Bring sun cream and hats to protect your skin from the sun during the summer and head to the beaches on the hottest days to take advantage of the cooling breezes. Expect the inland areas to be hotter and more humid than the coastal regions. Sea temperatures in Son Parc reach around 21°C in the summer, making swimming in the clear shallow waters a pleasure for adults and children alike.

The Balearic Islands tend to experience mild winters with some rainfall. Temperatures in Son Parc rarely fall below 10°C, with average highs of 15°C even in January. Daily sunshine falls to between 3 and 5 hours during these months however it's still relatively warm and pleasant outside. The prevailing northerly wind is felt especially during February and March and is known as the 'tramontana'.
