Our review of Sitges...
Lively and colourful, the coastal town of Sitges is known for its artistic heritage, vibrant nightlife and huge gay scene during the summer months. Just a short trip from Barcelona, Sitges offers a picturesque and traditional Catalonian town, with a wealth of medieval features and a charming old quarter, together with an unconventional party-like atmosphere. Gay or straight, Sitges offers plenty to do, from relaxing on the many Blue Flag beaches and choosing an authentic seafood restaurant along the waterfront, to strolling around the maze-like streets whilst taking in the architecture and discovering the towns' artistic roots in the celebrated museums found here. Nightlife is legendary in Sitges (as is the towns' annual Carnival), with a huge choice of bars, clubs and discos catering to everyone.

Customer Reviews of Sitges...

"Sitges has a lot to offer - it seemed more authentic than many other towns on the Costa's I've been to, and I loved its quirky character. We stayed in a lovely 4 * hotel near the beach, but there seemed to be a huge choice of accommodation and lots of really nice places to eat in town."
Miss G Reynolds, Hayes, UK

"Great day trip from Barcelona - I hadn't heard of it before but loved the beaches and the fun atmosphere in Sitges, great for people-watching!"
Mr W Bolton, Norwich, UK

"Sitges is very pretty and if you like art, there are some fascinating museums to see. Very lively in the summer with some fantastic nightlife (lots of gay clubs) and lovely beaches on which to soak up the sun as the weather is pretty good all year round!"
Ms D Coleman, London, UK
