Sartene Weather

The weather conditions in Sartene are at their best between June and September. In June they see average temperatures of 24C during the day – obviously at can get a lot hotter! July and August sees it rise to 27C and September stays lovely and warm, averaging 25C. The sea is warmest from June to September, peaking at 24C in August and hitting 23C either side in June and September. Summer nights seldom fall below 16C and can be a lot warmer, averaging a perfect 19C in August, the hottest month.  

 

The winter weather in Sartene can be chilly at night, with a small chance of frost between early December and the end of February. Night time winter temperatures in Sartene can plummet below freezing, hence the risk of frost. But they rarely do. In general, average winter daytime temperatures are very reasonable. 13C to 14C falling to 7C – 9C at night. It is wettest from October to February, although you’ll only experience around three inches of rain over the wettest month, November.
