Sao Vicente Weather – Very dry peak season summers
The weather conditions in Sao Vicente are beautifully dry during our summer season, with very little chance of rain. Less than an inch spread over the month in June, July and August. During the day you’ll experience temperatures averaging 25C in June, 29C in June and 29C in August, which makes for a very lovely climate. Take a look at our average weather chart for Sao Vicente and you’ll see that it starts getting nicely warm there in early April, and doesn’t really get colder until late in the year. Average sunshine in Sao Vicente is high in summer; a wonderful nine hours in May and ten in June rising to eleven hours of sun a day during August.

The weather in Sao Vicente is also warm at night, with summer evenings providing temperatures between 16C and 18C. June, July and August are also the driest months, with only 20mm of rain falling throughout the whole of June and a tiny amount – on average 15mm – throughout July.

Winter Weather in Sao Vicente – Milder winter than the UK
The winter weather in Sao Vicente, at either end of the year, can turn chilly. December and January are the coldest months, with daytime temperatures averaging 14C to 15C during the day and 6C to 8C at night. There’s always a chance of frost in December, January, February and March, and sea temperatures fall in line from 25C in summer to 14C in February and March. Winter temperatures in Sao Vicente, while nowhere near as chilly as here, do take a nosedive but even though it is chilly, it’s still a wonderful climate compared with the UK! And between four and five hours of sunshine a day throughout the winter months makes the lower temperatures very pleat indeed.
