There are many excursions and trips from Sao Rafael and you can choose from sailing down the Algarve coastline on the deck of a yacht to visiting small villages and historic ruins. A day trip to Albufeira should not be missed; it is the largest, liveliest and most energetic town in the Algarve.

Don’t miss the opportunity to take in a shopping trip to nearby Gui. This huge shopping complex boasts over 130 different stores, 45 fashion stores, restaurants and a hypermarket. It is all housed within a colourful example of traditional Algarve architecture.
