Santa Ponsa Things To Do
Beaches
Santa Ponsa has long been a favourite with British holiday makers thanks to the spectacular weather and the long swathes of golden sand. Santa Ponsa actually has three beaches lapped by the warm Mediterranean Sea. The perfect location to relax in the sunshine, swim in the sea and take part in the numerous water sports activities.
Nightlife
Santa Ponsa nightlife is a lively affair with many bars, pubs and clubs. There are live music bars, discos and a great many Irish bars where the fun never stops. Santa Ponsa is also a family resort so don’t expect the all night discos that are available only ten minutes away in Magalluf or Palma Nova.
Restaurants
There is a wide selection of excellent restaurants in Santa Ponsa to suit every taste. Italian, Irish, British, Chinese, Indian and of course traditional Spanish and Majorcan food are all on the menu. Good food and drink matter in Majorca so if in doubt go to the restaurants where the locals eat.
Sports Activities
As you would expect from a holiday resort there are plenty of sports activities available in Santa Ponsa. There are three full size golf courses located only minutes away from the town. Water sports in Santa Ponsa include diving, water-skiing, surfing, sailing and pedal boating. Holiday makers can hire bicycles and mopeds to explore the area or trek the surrounding countryside on horseback.
Sightseeing
Santa Ponsa is located only ten minutes from both the vibrant party towns of Magaluf and Palma Nova so a day and night out in both should be experienced. Trips to theme parks from Santa Ponsa should also include Aqualand in Magaluf with its death defying slides or the go-kart track near Aqualand. The new Western Park is a very popular theme park that combines a water park with a wild west theme park and makes for a great day out.
