Santa Susanna Things To Do

Santa Susanna beaches are everything holiday makers could wish for from a beach in Spain. The locals love the 2Km stretch of golden sand as much as the holiday makers do, which is always a reassuring sign. There are plenty of water sports available and a few bars and restaurants near the beach area. For one of the Costa Brava’s most famous beach spots make the short journey to Malgrat de Mar.

 

Santa Susanna nightlife includes some excellent bars and nightclubs that do open very late. However, Santa Susanna is not a party capital and music bars are a staple in the area. Holiday makers who prefer all night dancing and a massive selection of clubs and pubs should make the 20 minute journey to the party capital of Lloret de Mar.

One of the most famous cities in the Costa Brava is only a short jaunt from Santa Susanna. Lloret de Mar is a city awash with history, culture, amazing nightlife, first class restaurants and the ultimate in shopping. A few days will be needed to take in all Lloret de Mar has to offer including the fabulous Blue Flag beaches, markets, festivals and museums. Lloret de Mar is a great alternative to the laid back Santa Susanna.

 

Day trips from Santa Susanna are an excellent way to see all that the Costa Brava has to offer. Holiday makers should consider taking the short train journey to Barcelona, only 60km, to sample the city’s delights. Theme parks are a must to keep the children happy and can include the thrills of Waterworld, Aqualand and the children’s zoo. The National Park’s amazing scenery is a must for hikers, walkers and bike enthusiasts.

 

Santa Susanna’s old town area serves up some of the best traditional Spanish dishes in the area. The fresh fish and seafood restaurants are second to none but there are also restaurants and cafes serving up international and European dishes.
