Sannat Weather

Sannat cannot be beaten as a true all year round warm weather destination. The fantastic weather in Sannat draws holiday makers back year after year. It is no exaggeration to say that this area of Gozo can boast very high temperatures during the summer months. July and August can see temperatures in Sannat hovering around the 35C mark with the sun beating down for around 12 hours per day. The peak season is from May until September and the water temperature in Sannat is much higher during autumn than the spring months.

 

Holidays in Sannat are a sun worshipper’s paradise thanks to the hot summer weather. Temperatures will never usually dip below 25C during the summer and the beaches will be busy as holiday makers enjoy the hot sunshine that beats down for around 12 hours per day. If you prefer cooler temperatures then April and October will see the heat hovering between 20C and 25C. Diving is one of the most popular activities on Gozo thanks to the warm water temperatures and this activity even takes place during the winter months. Rainfall during the summer months is practically non existent and every day will be bright and sunny with warm evenings and cooling breezes drifting in from the Mediterranean Sea.

 

Winter in Sannat is still warm with temperatures hovering around the 15C mark. The sun will be out for around five hours per day and the festive season is considered a mini high peak season on the island. There is more than enough sunshine to gain a golden tan and by April the temperature in Sannat is once again heading to the 20C mark, just in time for that much needed Easter holiday break.
